Sales and Trade Show Coordinator

iPostal1, the leading provider of Digital Mailbox technology worldwide, is seeking to build out our Marketing team. Our website, www.iPostal1.com, lists 3,000 addresses, including retail pack and ship stores, 1,000 Staples stores and coworking spaces. Customers choose a mailing address for business or personal use and view and manage their postal mail and packages anywhere with an app or online.
We are seeking a talented and creative Sales and Trade Show Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing team at iPostal1. The person in this role will support the Retail Sales Team with follow up to new mail center partners via phone, email and online webinars to complete the onboarding process and resolve any issues. Key metric will be activating new mail center addresses on iPostal1.com. In addition, this person will coordinate preparation and logistics for industry trade shows throughout the U.S. and attend many of these shows.
This is an onsite position working out of our Montebello, NY headquarters in Rockland County with travel 10% - 15% of the time to tradeshows.
Key responsibilities
- Engage new mail center partners to complete the onboarding process to qualify as a mailing address on iPostal1.com.
- Engage local postmasters and USPS management to complete upload to database of required mail center address information.
- Support the sales team by following up with lapsed mail center lead opportunities.
- Coordinate the preparation and logistics for trade shows throughout the U.S. to recruit new mail center partners.
- Attend trade shows and industry conferences to capture sales leads. Some weekend work required.
- Use our CRM tools; (Salesforce and Freshdesk) to log all activity and manage the sales onboarding process
- Utilize email, phone, and webinar presentations to service accounts. Assist each account and the key decision maker at each iPostal1 location to finalize the sale
- Provide regular progress updates and projections
- Become knowledgeable of the Digital Mailbox industry through company data, self-directed research, and industry newsletters and blogs
Requirements
- B2B sales/service experience with demonstrated achievement preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Self-directed, ambitious, organized, entrepreneurial mind-set
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Dedication to achieving results through persistence and continual improvement
- Basic Computer, Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with CRM preferred, Salesforce or Freshdesk a plus
- Sales acumen
- Ability to communicate in an outgoing, poised and persuasive manner
