Sales Manager

iPostal1, the leading provider of Digital Mailbox technology worldwide, is seeking to build out our Sales team. Our website, www.iPostal1.com, lists 3,000 addresses, including retail pack and ship stores, 1,000 Staples stores and coworking spaces. Customers choose a mailing address for business or personal use and view and manage their postal mail and packages anywhere with an app or online.


We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our dynamic Sales team at iPostal1.  This individual contributor position is responsible to create and implement a sales plan to penetrate the large and growing shared retail channel in the U.S. and abroad.  Key metric will be signing up new locations to list their address on iPostal1.com.  This will be accomplished primarily by phone, email and online webinars, as well as attending several tradeshows. 

This is a hybrid position working out of our Montebello, NY corporate headquarters in Rockland County with travel 10% - 15% of the time to tradeshows.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and generate account leads using company and industry data sources. Use a CRM tool like Salesforce to log all activity and manage the sales process
  • Utilize email, phone, and webinar presentations to penetrate accounts. Reach the key decision makers to close the sale
  • Provide regular progress updates and sales projections
  • Become knowledgeable on the postal industry through company data, self-directed research, and industry newsletters and blogs
  • Attend several trade shows and industry conferences each year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • B2B sales experience with demonstrated achievement preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the postal industry
  • Self-directed, ambitious, organized, entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Dedication to achieving results through persistence and continual improvement
  • Basic computer, Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet skills
  • Sales acumen
  • Ability to communicate in an outgoing, poised and persuasive manner
